Grants & Operations

Where I help nonprofits

Most of this work happens inside organizations that are small by design but international by necessity: a handful of staff spread across time zones, currencies, and legal jurisdictions, answering to funders who each want something slightly different.

LIFECYCLE

Grants lifecycle management

One missed compliance deadline can put a multi-year grant at risk. Prospecting, proposal development, budget construction, compliance tracking, and narrative and financial reporting run as one continuous system, not separate fire drills.

SYSTEMS

CRM build-out

When grant status lives only in someone's memory, it walks out the door with them. Salesforce and Airtable environments built to track relationships, deadlines, and disbursements keep it in one place instead.

MEASUREMENT

MEL frameworks

Funders expect evidence. Program staff don't have time to become full-time data-entry clerks producing it. Monitoring, evaluation, and learning structures close that gap without the overhead.

STRUCTURE

Cross-border compliance

A funder eligibility rule in one country can quietly disqualify a grant in another. Budgeting and reporting can span currencies and legal structures, drawing on experience establishing organizations from initial registration through day-to-day operations across the Netherlands, Morocco, and the U.S.
